Privacy Policy
CartyJo Pro Mobile Application
Last updated: May 24, 2026This Privacy Policy describes how CartyJo Pro (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with our mobile application CartyJo Pro (the “App”), available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
1. Who we are
CartyJo Pro is a mobile shopping application that connects you to our online stores operated at cartyjopro.com and related domains (including business storefronts). This policy applies only to the App unless stated otherwise.
2. Information we do not collect
We designed the App so that we do not collect personal data through the App itself. Specifically, the App does not:
- Collect your name, email, phone number, or address into a separate app database operated by us;
- Track your location;
- Access your contacts, photos, microphone, or calendar (except where you explicitly choose to use device features such as the camera or photo library solely to upload an image for your account or order, if that feature is enabled);
- Use third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising networks that profile you;
- Sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
3. How the App works with our website
When you sign in, browse products, or place orders, the App communicates directly with our WooCommerce-powered website(s) to provide those services. Any account or order information you enter (such as login credentials, cart contents, and delivery details) is submitted to our website under the same terms as using the site in a web browser—not to a separate data-collection system run by the App.
Login sessions may be stored locally on your device (for example, a secure token) so you can stay signed in. This information remains on your phone unless you sign out or uninstall the App.
4. Permissions
The App may request certain device permissions only when needed for features you use, such as:
- Internet — to load products, prices, and process orders;
- Camera / photo library — only if you choose to upload an image (for example, for account or order purposes).
You can deny permissions in your device settings; some features may not work without them.
5. Third-party services
Our website may use standard web technologies (such as payment processors or hosting providers) governed by their own policies when you complete a purchase on the site. The App itself does not embed additional third-party data-collection tools beyond what is required to connect to our store.
6. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
7. Data security
Although we do not operate a separate database for App users, we take reasonable measures to protect communications between the App and our website (for example, via HTTPS). No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices
- Sign out — you can sign out of the App at any time to remove the local session token;
- Uninstall — removing the App deletes locally stored session data from your device;
- Account on website — to update or delete account information held on our store, contact us using the email below or use your account settings on the website where available.
9. International users
If you use the App from outside your home country, your information may be processed on our website servers in locations where our hosting provider operates. By using the App, you understand that this may involve cross-border data processing by our website infrastructure only.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
